Lakeland Prayer Network

Glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ by calling Christians in the Greater Lakeland area to unite in repentance and prayer for the awakening of the church and the transformation of the city.

This effort is centered on the theme and purposes of 2 Chronicles 7:14

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humblethemselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Beginning May 1!

On Thursday, May 1st, Christians from all over the greater Lakeland area and all across America will be assembling for a special day of repentance and prayer the—National Day of Prayer. This event unleashes an opportunity for Christians all over the world to seek God in repentance and prayer— THE GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER!

THE GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER
On Pentecost Sunday, Christians in almost every country will assemble to pray. Many will gather in small groups in homes. Many will assemble in large stadiums and other large venues. In some places, television, radio and internet will help connect and align our prayers even more.

NINETY DAYS OF BLESSING
As in the first Pentecost, transformed Christians transform their communities as they offer themselves to God as instruments through which their prayers can be answered.

In Lakeland: We are forming or furthering local alliances among pastors, churches, ministries and business leaders, to bring practical, transformational blessing to our communities. For ninety days, you will be given opportunities to link arms with local charities to bless the people of Lakeland.
